Hospice of Frederick County invites the community to join with them this holiday season to remember and honor loved ones who have died on its special Tree of Remembrance. All are welcome to drop by the hospice office to personalize a snowflake ornament on hospice’s tree. You can simply write the name of your loved one on the ornament, or include a message.
In place of the snowflake, you’re invited to take a crystal teardrop ornament from the tree. The teardrop represents the sadness we feel when we lose a loved one—and even if tears are not part of someone’s grief, they still symbolize the cleansing and healing of the soul.
The Hospice Tree of Remembrance is located in the Hospice lobby at 516 Trail Avenue (across from FMH). You’re welcome to visit Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
The Remembrance Tree is just one way we can cherish and nurture the places in our hearts that will always be reserved for our loved ones.
